Graphic design team Richard and Abby Tovell of T Square Design Studio wanted website copy that felt fun, fresh, and a little quirky, and that would support their varied visuals. They also needed to highlight what makes them distinctive: a focus on visual branding, expert website and digital design, and interpretive and exhibit design for museums. They were open to trying anything, and as a website copywriter, this is my favorite type of project. Not only does it allow me to delve into what makes the client’s work special, but it also gives me the opportunity for some offbeat wordplay and narrative writing.
I crafted keyword-rich copy that speaks to Abby and Richard’s British heritage and history, as well as their approach to having fun with their work. The result feels authentically T Square—professional yet lighthearted—and allows their visually based business to express itself not just in images, but also in words.
