Developmental Editing, Copyediting & Proofreading

Books—of all styles, lengths, and genres—are one of my passions. Here is a small sampling of the more than 350 books I’ve worked on as the developmental editor, copyeditor, or proofreader.

I started my career as an editor for books and magazines, and I’m grateful for the foundation it gave me in quality storytelling and technique. As a freelance editor, I enjoy working on a wide variety of genres, from memoir to business, self-help, cooking, New Age, health and wellness, sci-fi, romance, erotica, contemporary women’s literature, suspense, YA, and more.

I’m able to work with a variety of house style guides, as well as with The Chicago Manual of Style, the AP Stylebook, and the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style guide; the majority of my clients use CMS).
